2000 (11-16): Art of Photography Exhibit
More than 2,000 of New York's fashion and downtown model set attended the Art of Photography Exhibit and silent auction
sponsored by Luxlook.com, the luxury goods e-tailer. The lots up for auction were photos of Madonna (three pictures of her raised $4,350), David Bowie, Sharon Stone, Robert Mitchum and film director John Waters. Guests included models Rebecca Romijn, Veronica Webb, Jodie Kidd, Alan Cumming, MTV VJ Amanda Lewis, stylist Phillip Bloch, and Stella McCartney. Photographer David LaChapelle's evening raised $69,000 for God's Love We Deliver, an HIV and AIDS charity.
