2002 (06-20): Creative Coalition Debate
Free speech during wartime? People are talking about last week's (06-20-2002, RRF) Creative Coalition debate in Beverly Hills, Calif., that had "New York Intellectuals" written all over it. Rebecca Romijn, Daniel Stern, Timothy Dalton and Sharon Lawrence were in the packed audience, along with producers and directors, as the 90-minute argument took place. Panelists included Politically Incorrect host Bill Maher, CNN's Tucker Carlson, and there were smart questions from audience members such
as Mary Stuart Masterson.
After, at Chadwick's restaurant, the chef Ben Ford (Harrison's son), Newsweek's investigator Michael Isikoff and Watergate's Carl Bernstein mingled with the coalition's prexy, William Baldwin, and Variety's Peter Bart and Charlie Koones.
