In addition, "Fashionably Loud Miami" will feature the four semi-finalists from MTV and IMG's "Model Mission." This fall, MTV and IMG traveled to four cities including Portland, OR; Savannah, GA; King of Prussia, PA; and Minneapolis, MN in search of a new face for the modeling industry. One semi-finalist from each city was chosen and each one will take part in "Fashionably Loud Miami." During "Fashionably Loud Miami," the four women will compete for a $250,000 modeling contract from IMG Models and appear in an upcoming issue of Mademoiselle. Judging the four Model Mission winners will be musician Dave Navarro, fashion designer Todd Oldham, MTV's own Carson Daly, Mademoiselle's Evyan Metzner Street and representatives from IMG and MTV House of Style.
November 30th to December 5th (1998, RRF) will be a fashionable week of music beginning with "Model Mission" specials that introduce the four finalists to MTV viewers premiering December 1-4 at 4:30 PM (ET/PT). On Saturday, December 5th, Wyclef Jean will host a "Fashionably Loudest" countdown, which looks at the 10 music artists who have the most fashion influence on MTV's audience. The countdown airs from 2 to 4 PM (ET/PT). House of Style's Rebecca Romijn will make appearances throughout the week on "Total Request Live," which airs at 3:30 PM (ET/PT) and model James King will appear during the week's prime time music block. "MTV Jams" will air from South Beach during the entire week at 5:00 PM (ET/PT).
