Rebecca Romijn's Speech
New Orleans is a lyrical place, but it is more than that, it is a musical place. How many songs have been written about the city? How much great music was made there, was inspired by being there? The music is everywhere, in every courtyard, in every chunk of crack sidewalk. It oozes up from the ground. Musicians who never feel at home anywhere, feel at home in New Orleans. That is why musician Greg Kline has formed his newest group: “Arabe Wrecking Crew” designed to clean and gut the houses of New Orleans’ musicians making it possible for them to return home to the city that music calls home.
